Lazy summer holidays

Well hello again sorry for the delay in posts but my daughter is on her school holidays so things have been about wild here of late lol 

I have been making another baby set for a family member now I love making gifts for my friends and family and its nice they want my gifts but really did everyone have to have there baby's in the same year lol I haven't blogged a lot as I just haven't made anything new yet as been busy with baby sets. 

I would make more things but since Christmas I have sold nothing that's right nothing and well I'm getting a little disheartened I might get the occasional little thing to make but mostly from family or friend that feel bad I'm hoping the baby madness may slow down near the end of the year so I can concentrate on making some gothic goodies.

I have how ever made a start on some Halloween items my fave being the eye ball book mark.

I love it and plan on making some key ring versions I also tried a new version of my pumpkins.

Which I adore I would love to have more done by now but juggling a 5 year old and a baby set which is done in blocks is difficult plus I do Zumba every day and well everything eats in to my time I also can't work at night as I can't have the light on as it attracts lots of moths and bugs lol so here is a peek at the current baby set taking shape.

This is the blanket it's taking longer than I like but never mind.

This is the little cardigan it still needs sleeves and a button band this will have a cute little glitter bow and so will the hat and booties I'm also making a little baby headband too.

Hot Hot Hot!

Well hello again all.....


So summer has finally arrived and for that im thankful. Im more of a autumn winter person but tbh where i have been so ill i have welcomed it this year.

so schools nearly out and my daughters is due to finish for the summer and so i have been busy making teacher gifts for her lovely teachers these have taken longer than i liked as i have made them all without patterns. im really pleased with them so far i have made.....

Each have been made with slightly different colours as my daughters reception class has 2 teachers and a TA (the TA's set will be red with a green apple). all which work so so hard to keep the madness under control lol. my daughter is making apple thank you cards and we are putting her hand print in air drying clay with thank you for being my teacher on it written by her.

I love how they have all come out and know the teachers will love them.

I cant believe my little girl will be in year 1 in September time is going so fast but she is doing so well and loves learning. i have no idea what im going to do with her over the 6 weeks but im sure will be lots of fun times ahead.

I will be starting my Christmas and Halloween items as well as a Christmas check list so keep checking my blogg out.

Cuties

well hello my lovelies

so were all back to normality after my birthday weekend and what a busy month june is for us lol.

well ive become a big fan of ammigarumi and i just love the endless creations you can make with it.

so one of my first ammis was the little flame thing off the energy advert as my daughter was obsessed with it i also made one for my friends little girl i think he is cute

 this little guy was from a set i made for my home this was the smallest so i gave him a face hehe

 These were also one of my first for my daughters teachers when she left nursery last year and im about to make some more for her teachers from reception as shes about to go in to year 1.

  

I also did my first craft fair at my daughters school at Christmas and made these cute tree decs

it went well and made a bit but most of all i sold them all and had fun.

so when Easter came round i made these little egg cosys which went down very well with the kids and adults they were super fun to make 

 I also made these for my daughters teachers which they loved and i thought were super cute.

 So then came my recent ammies and this time these cuties were food related...

 squeeee!! cute cupcakes i called these the sprinkles i love them

and this is Mr sprinkles the doughnut hes super cute!!!

I also made some key rings for a food festival in my area

Im so pleased with how my crochet has come along i the last year and find it a great way to relax. i cant wait to show you my new things as i make them my latest ammi was this cutie for my daughters birthday i made her up and was super proud of it.

so that's me up to date i will now be showing you things that are in the making as im making them.

Birthday

Well sorry about the missed post yesterday but ended up going for a pre birthday shop for clothes as I wanted to chill on my birthday lol . 

So today I'm turning 28 and I get to enjoy it with my little family and a lovely meal later with my hubby, daughter, friend and her bf later which I'm very much looking forward too. 

But today I started my day with my fave cereal thanks to my hubby and daughter

And they got me this lovely book 

I got lots of lovely things from people and lots of lovely cards. 

my hubby and daughter also made me a banana and chocolate cake as a surprise wile I was out shopping yesterday which was so lovely and special. even if they did use every pot and pan in the house lol.

well I do have some lovely new things to show you on Monday and lots about my new venture in to ammigarumi over the last year so stay tuned and keep it *~.Magic.~*

Im back!!

Hello all !

So sorry i have been neglecting my blog of late its been a little busy to say the least over at Magical homespun crafts facebook page. so to start a fresh i promise to write on here every day its going to me my new place to tell you all what lovelies im making and well general crafty stuff. 

So i feel iv come along way over the last year and have made some things im really proud of. iv also made a whole heep of new crafty friends too. if you remeber in my last post i showed you my first ever crochet make from way back and my friends first ever blanket well iv been busy and since created some lovely blankets im really proud of.

Theirs nothing like a granny square or indeed a circle inside a square...

what do you think? im so proud of these.

I made this for my beautiful daughter to keep here warm during the long winter we had

 I made this bright tea pot cosy for my best friend to get her to drink more tea now shes due a baby but think she puts coffee in her tea pot hahaha yes shes a little addicted lol

 I don't know about you lovelies but pretty much anything rainbow cheers me up 

I have lots more pretty's to show you but will show you in my next blog its all about ammigarumi my new fave thing but i just wanted to say sorry for not showing you all my magic but im back and just you wait it will be worth it. but in the mean time please follow me over at my facebook page.
